"I don’t give a goddamn," Bush retorted. "I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way."

US Senators call for universal Internet filtering | Press Esc

US Senators call for universal Internet filtering | Press Esc: "US senators today made a bipartisan call for the universal implementation of filtering and monitoring technologies on the Internet in order to protect children at the end of a Senate hearing for which civil liberties groups were not invited."

This is a very dangerous proposal. What happened to parenting skills? We should not have the government filter ANY internet content that it may deem objectionable. Once they step on that slippery slope, it will not be long before we resemble China.
