Edwards proposes mandatory military service

"One of the things we ought to be thinking about is some level of mandatory service to our country, so that everybody in America--not just the poor kids who get sent to war--are serving this country," Edwards said.

Yes, sounds like a plan, How else will we be able to find the troops to take over the rest of the middle east? Here we see that the Democrats can be just as bad as the current administration. Of course Edwards is claiming he wants to end the war, but then why the need for compulsory service?
