"Mr. President," one aide in the meeting said. "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution."

"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face," Bush screamed back. "It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!"

The Raw Story | Bush: Congress must stay at work to pass wiretapping bill: "During remarks made at the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Building in Washington, DC, President Bush said that Congress must stay in session until they can pass an eavesdropping law."

Well, hell, we will soon have Bush listening to every conversation on earth, because the last thing congress will do is jeopardize its vacation. They have worked so hard, you know, to do nothing really at all. We still have two wars going on, plans for more, and a couple of malignant tumors on the executive branch that we call Bush and Cheney.
