"I don’t give a goddamn," Bush retorted. "I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way."

"Mr. President," one aide in the meeting said. "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution."

"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face," Bush screamed back. "It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!"

War funding bill heads to Bush - Capitol Hill- msnbc.com

War funding bill heads to Bush - Capitol Hill- msnbc.com: "The Democratic-led Congress authorized more Iraq war spending on Friday, sending President Bush a defense bill requiring no change in strategy after failing again to impose a timetable for U.S. troop withdrawals.

The defense policy bill, approved 90-3 by the Senate, also expanded the size of the U.S. Army and set conditions on the Bush administration’s plan to build a missile defense system in Europe."

Good job congress!!! You have proven once again that you will do exactly the opposite of what the majority desires...

Well, even a few Dem-o-rats have to admit that we are now winning. An inconvenient truth for those like you who loath America.

HA HA,nice to have delusions Mr Anonymous, makes life easier I guess...winning? winning what? A million Iraqis killed for what? Oh that's right, to free them from the violence and torture they had under Saddam...morons like this are the reason America is no longer free. Loathe America? not at all. The neocons you support with that moronic statement loathe America and freedom, preferring a fascist system.

What America are you living in then, Anonymous?

We have warrantless wiretapping, warrantless collection of email data, firefighters being trained to report on "discontent for America."

We have protesters being put on no-fly lists, protesters forbidden from leaving the country legally.

We have torture in CIA secret prisons, and in Gitmo. We have "enemy combatants" who are innocent, and still held without charges for years.

We have detention facilities all across the country.

We have a president that has given himself special authority to declare martial law. We have thrown away the Posse Commitus act, allowing the President to quell an uprising with federal troops.

I could go on and on. Obviously, you must live somewhere other than the United States of America, because here, fascism is becoming more and more present everyday.
